Immerse yourself in the heritage of Wise County, Virginia, where the Dotson Hotel, a precursor to The Inn at Wise, stood tall in the face of change. Following a tragic fire in 1909, local visionaries formed the Wise Hotel Corporate, commissioning the construction of a 22-room hotel in 1910. As ownership changed hands, Herbert Thompson’s stewardship in 1925 marked a pivotal era, transforming the establishment into the iconic Inn we know today.

Fast forward to the 1990s, neglect set in until a dedicated effort by the Wise County Industrial Development Authority breathed life back into this historic beauty, allowing it to stand today as a symbol of timeless charm, crafting new tales for generations to cherish.
